She was predeceased by: her husband Robert L. Barnowsky; and her daughters, Carol Woy and Cathy Barnowsky. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Barnowsky, Robert W. Barnowsky (Jo) and Barbara Caputo (Andy); her grandchildren, Meleny (Ian), Nicole, Nick (Samantha), Allan and Jake (Jenni); and her great grandchildren, Henry, Eli, Cooper, Kennedy, Sydney, Caydence, Conner and Carter.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons (36900 Schoenherr Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Sterling Heights (33381 Ryan Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48310).
