LaVerne J. Biskner II Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of LaVerne J. Biskner II (Sterling Heights, Michigan). LaVerne, born on March 2, 1930, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Louise; his children, LaVerne Biskner (Loretta), Carl Lynn Biskner (Sandra), Mary Louise Richardson (late Jeff), Betty McGuire (Patrick) and Bill John Biskner (late Diane); and his grandchildren, Melissa, Carl, Mary, Steven, Jeffrey, Lauren, Timothy, Marie, Joe, Olivia, Alaina and Nicholas. He was also cherished by 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home (13650 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Innocents Catholic Church (26100 Ridgemont St, Roseville, MI 48066). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to Autism Speaks in LaVerne's memory.
