It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Andrew Sholtis of Sterling Heights, Michigan, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Joseph and Elizabeth "Betty" Margaret Sholtis. He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his daughters, Laura Danczyk (Adrian), Colleen Greer, Suzanne Jonna and Jennifer Tillinger (Bill); his grandchildren, Matteo, Maximo, Janelle (Nathaniel), Peter Joseph, Gina and Jessica; his brothers, Richard Sholtis (Colleen), Douglas Sholtis (Leighann) and Mark Sholtis (Greta Barkai); and his pet Bumper.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons (36900 Schoenherr Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A prayer will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ronald Catholic Church (17701 15 Mile Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48035). A Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
