He was predeceased by: his siblings, Timothy, Christopher, Mark, Bridgette, Juliette and Claudia.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Smith (Silverio); his daughters, Julia Avant (Chandler) and Sarah Smith; his brother Andrew; his nieces and nephews, John (Megan), Joey, Jordan (Rachel), Jesse, Tierney (Desmond) and Rebecca (Derek); and his pets, Jack, Teddy, Bo, Sarge and Smudge.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons (36900 Schoenherr Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the San Francesco Church (22870 S Nunneley Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48035). A Mass will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the San Francesco Catholic Church (22870 S Nunneley Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48035).
