With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Joseph Ponzo of Sterling Heights, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Michael Joseph shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Michael Joseph farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnne Ponzo; his granddaughter Jennifer Marie Coudenys; and his sister Rose Celletti (late Rudy). He is survived by: his daughter Angela Coudenys (David); his grandchild Donnie Coudenys (Tabetha Haudek); and his sister Frances Murphy (late Harvey). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church (21201 13 Mile Rd, St Clair Shores, MI 48082). A Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
