We announce the death of Michael Paul Shipman of Sterling Heights, Michigan, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 68. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ken Shipman and Ethel Shipman (Mickey); his spouse Gail; his son Joshua (Maire); his stepchildren, Jared Wysocki (Sarah) and Kate Bishop (Mike); his grandchildren, Grady Shipman, Tyler Wysocki (MacKenzie), William Johnson, Abby Wysocki and Noah Bishop; his great grandchild Bennett Wysocki; his sibling Chris Shipman (Sue); and his nieces and nephews, Jeff Shipman (Njani Payne), Steffen Shipman (Kristyn) and Alec Shipman (Jeremy).
