We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Nina DiGaetano of Sterling Heights, Michigan. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonardo DiGaetano and Francesca DiGaetano; and her sisters, Catherine Quagliotto (Silvio) and Jennie Recchia (Paul). She is survived by: her nephews, Paul Recchia (Jane), Leonard Quagliotto (Mary), Robert Recchia (Cristina), Raymond Recchia (Kathy) and John Quagliotto (Betty). She is also survived by 14 great-nieces and nephews, and 15 great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons (36900 Schoenherr Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). The lying in state will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Episcopal Church (115 S Main St, Mt Clemens, MI 48043). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
