He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Gino Mariani (Alice), Lora Kinneman (John) and Robert Mariani; his granddaughters, Olivia Sunderland (Jack) and Mary Elizabeth Trojanowski (Shane); and his great grandchildren, Lake, Henry Sunderland and Sonny Trojanowski.

The lying in state will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Blase Catholic Church (12151 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Blase Church (12151 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312).
