It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Pia Jean Caporale (Sterling Heights, Michigan), who passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent; and her son Joe. She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Weingarden (Danny), Anthony Caporale (Sue) and Vince Caporale (Jenny); her grandchildren, Matthew (Chris), Eric (Katie), Rachel (Kevin), Dennis, Conner, Brendan (Delaney) and Bret (Riley); her great grandchildren, Ella, Maya, Joe and Mack; and her sister Clementina (late Dante). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bagnasco & Calcaterra Funeral Home (13650 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Lucy Catholic Church (23401 Jefferson Ave, St Clair Shores, MI 48080). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (18201 Clinton River Rd, Clinton Twp, MI 48036).
