With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Piera M. Franklin (Sterling Heights, Michigan), who passed away on December 22, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John B. Franklin; her children, Mary E. Mutti, Mark R. Franklin, John B. Franklin Jr., Monica C. Gymrek (Thomas) and Gregory J. Franklin (Dawn); her grandchildren, Justin, Bianca, Andrew, Matthew, Michael, Courtney, Mitchell, Samantha and Maxwell; and her great grandchildren, Mashayla, Carsyn and Camryn.

She was an avid knitter who donated many scarfs to charity.
