He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Cathers and Lillian Cathers; and his brother Jon Cathers. He is survived by: his wife Faye Cathers; his children, Chrissy Cathers-Biela (Tony), Liz Cathers and Robert Cathers (Tricia); his grandchildren, Nick Biela, Nora Biela, Evan Biela, Josh Coll (Jessica), Jacob Coll (Hannah), Jonathan Cathers (Erica) and Justin Cathers; his great grandchildren, Jonathan Jr., Alayna and Lorraine; his nephew Jason (Melissa); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor, Kyla and Ryan.
