He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert H Palmer and Ruby D Havens (Cluster); his brothers, Ronnie Gene Palmer, Roy Benny Palmer and Jerome Vaught; and his close friend Anna Murpi.

He is survived by: his siblings, Renda G Kever (John), Jada S Young (Jeff) of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Lori A Edminsten (Terry) of Okemah, Oklahoma. and Dan Vaught (Debbie) of Hillard, Ohio.; and his stepdaughters, Christina of Texas, Rhonda of Texas and Kim of Texas. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
