He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley John Szwalek Sr. and Laura Szwalek. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Szwalek; his children, Kathleen, Laura (Tom), Stanley John (Jamie) and Theresa (Dane); and his sister Linda Braun.
The lying in state will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Malachy Catholic Church (14115 E 14 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Stan's honor can be given to either the National Kidney Foundation (https://www.kidney.org) or to the Parkinson's Foundation.
