With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen Joseph Beresh Sr. of Sterling Heights, Michigan, who passed away on June 19, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Beresh (Mary Beresh) and Mary Beresh; and his sister Mary Beresh. He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Stephen Beresh (Sandra) and Kathleen Rastigue (Kirk); his grandchildren, Stephen Beresh (Lindsay), Rachael Claeys (Adam), Andrea Bird (Andy), Alex Beresh (Stephanie D'Ascenzo), Gabrielle Rastigue and Grant Rastigue; his great grandchildren, Reid Beresh, Ryan Beresh, Rosiland Claeys and Chase Claeys; and his brothers, Edward Beresh and Daniel Beresh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great-great nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer Masses said or donations made to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
