He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dembeck and Gertrude Dembeck; his son Thomas Dembeck; his son-in-law Michael Adam; his siblings, Donald Dembeck (Carrie), Alfred Dembeck and Marion Sicklesteel (Donald); and his siblings-in-law, Michael Domzal (Ellen) and Dolores Barkume.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Debbie Peterson, Lora Adam (Mike), Julie Kelvin (Mike) and Tony Dembeck (Carolyn); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Barnes (Leo), Alicia Dembeck, Nolan Peterson, Michael Kelvin (Tiffeny), Spencer Adam, Timothy Kelvin (Aly), Christina Jones (Zack), Paul Dembeck, Lucy Dembeck and Calvin Adam; his great grandchildren, Connor Barnes and Michael Axel Kelvin; his brother Ralph Dembeck; his sister-in-law Helen "Coco" Dembeck (Susan Domzal); and his daughter-in-law Renee.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan and Son Funeral Directors-Utica (8459 Hall Rd, Utica, MI 48317). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Matthias Catholic Church (12311 19 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Capuchins or the Father Solanus Casey Center.
