He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Bissonnette (Edward) and James Longbrake; his wife Kathy Amsdill; his grandchildren, Emileigh, Jack and Sophie; and his siblings, Janet, Judy, JoAnn, Katherine and James. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bill's memory to support the fight against esophageal cancer through The American Cancer Society.
