He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Szypa and Anna Szypa; his wife Stella Cegelnick; and his granddaughter Lisa. He is survived by: his children, Theresa of Roseville, MI, William Mark, Stephen (Teresa Ann) of Clinton Township, MI, Michael (Nancy) of Sterling Heights, MI, Judith of Silver Spring, MD and Patrick of Eastpointe, MI.; his grandchildren, Alex (Jacklyn), Josh (Katelyn), Gabriel, Eli Szypa and Angela (Tyler Schmidt) of Rockwood, MI.; and his great grandchildren, Delilah, Stella, Jacob, Nicholas, Alaina and Brooklyn.
