He is survived by: his wife Bette Parliament Mallen; his sons, Elliott Mallen and Evan Mallen; his daughters-in-law, Emily Dalton and Anastasia Kostrominova; his grandchildren, Nikolai and Katerina Mallen; his siblings, Paul Mallen, Dan Ernst (Nancy Noah), Heidi Barron (Mike) and Wendy Frost; and his pets, Julius and Gus.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be given to the Berrien County Cancer Service, Corewell Health Hospice and Palliative Care, and Stevensville United Methodist Church.
