Marilynne L. Schroeder Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Marilynne L. Schroeder of Stevensville, Michigan. Marilynne, born on April 25, 1942, passed away on September 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eric Menchinger and Linda Menchinger (Wetkowski); her husband Eugene Schroeder; and her brothers, Eric L. Menchinger and Fred G. Menchinger.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Schroeder of Benton Harbor and Kristine Olson (Michael) of Kalamazoo; her grandchildren, Jacob Vigansky (Karli), Jacilynne Witt (Matt), Jennaka Burns (Nick), Eric and Nathan Schroeder; her great grandchildren, Aubrie, Kendra, Teagan, Xander Witt, Ben, Braxton Vigansky, Ellamarie, Zaine and Ryeder Burns; and her siblings, Leonard E. Menchinger of Benton Harbor and Erilynne Decker of Huntsville, AL. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope Community Church (2390 Lake St, Niles, MI 49120). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations in Marilynne's name may be made to Niles Hope Community Church-Children & Youth Ministry.
