It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlan Tahran McIntire of Stevensville, Michigan, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Rachael McIntire. He is survived by: his girlfriend Lisa Elverd; his son Marlan, Jr. of Benton Harbor; his parents, Rosie Saunders of Conway, Arkansas and Richard McIntire of Missouri; and his siblings, Stephan McIntire (Carol), Richard McIntire III, Robert McIntire (ShaReece), Darius Saunders, Stephanie McIntire, Decoria Saunders, Doneshia Sudduth (Donald) and Donielle Saunders. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
