He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jackson and Claire Jackson (Elbel); his wife Diane Jackson; and his siblings, Rose Sturgeon, Robert, Jimmy and Ronnie Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Rosenthal (Allen) of St. Joseph, Raymond Jackson of Stevensville, Jeremy Jackson of Stevensville and James Jackson of Stevensville; his grandchildren, Kayla Rosenthal of St. Joseph, Cameron Rosenthal (Mercedes) of Berrien Springs and Gavin Rosenthal (Charlee) of Berrien Springs; his great grandchildren, Flynn, Winston Rosenthal and Rowan Rosenthal; his sister Judith Jackson of Benton Harbor; his sibling's children, Melissa Thar, Mary Jackson, Carrie Fogarty (Butch), Robin DePalma and Robert Sturgeon; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily Thar, Ivy Sanders (Jake), Cellie Olando (Drew), Andre Brown (Shawnee), Christopher Thar, Damian Maynor, William Fogarty and Nicholas Fogarty.
Memorial donations in Richard's memory may be made to the Stevensville American Legion.
