It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lee Minix of Stockbridge, Michigan, who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Lee Minix to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Minix and Earnestine Minix (Salyer); his wife Leotta Mae Ramsey; his siblings, Paul Minix, Elizabeth Gerber (Clifford) and Sharon Minix; and his brother-in-law Jim Myer.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Wester (Troy), Andrea Minix Aiken and Chad Minix (Christy); his sisters, Carolyn Myer and Donna Sussex (Tom); his grandchildren, Abigail Wester, Alivia Wester, Ally Minix, Riley Aiken, Travis Aiken and Zac Minix; and his sister-in-law Ila Minix. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home (117 N Clinton St, Stockbridge, MI 49285). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Divine Living Center of Leslie to be shared among the staff who cared for him with compassion and dedication every day.
