Steven leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Steven’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Steven will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Opp; and his wife Susan Renee (Fowler). He is survived by: his mother Shirley Opp (Kelm) of Stockbridge; his children, Nicole Nelson (Chris) of Dundee, Dallas Tweedy (Andrew) of Stockbridge and Michelle Romero (Francisco) of Fitchburg; and his sister Linda Minger (Mitch) of Stockbridge. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home (117 N Clinton St, Stockbridge, MI 49285). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sauder Village or Hospice of Lenawee.
