The family announces the passing of Wisemond Salyer of Stockbridge, Michigan on September 22, 2026. Wisemond, born on June 10, 1933, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Salyer and Amanda Salyer (Minix); his wife Sylvia Salyer (Allen); his daughter Lynda Lovely (Salyer); his grandchildren, Billy Wojdyla, Amanda Lynn and Mary Ann Salyer; and his siblings, Earnestine, Edna, Audrey, Myrtle, Bernice, Patchell and Lillian.
He is survived by: his children, Ruth Clafton (Tim) of Howell, Lee Salyer (Pattie), Dottie Salyer of Stockbridge, Kim Hatta (Randy) of St. Johns, Duane Salyer (Andrea) of Willis and Betsy Salyer (Dennis) of Stockbridge; and the mother of his children Dorothy Salyer (Baum). He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jeruel Baptist Church (11400 Plum Orchard Rd, Munith, MI 49259). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
