She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover C. Young and Bernice Young (Bowman); her husband George E. Pierce; and her brother-in-law Stanley Holtz. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Neiser (Alan) of Sturgis, Cathy Lindsley (Jeff) of Sturgis and Craig Pierce (Kendra) of Sturgis; her grandsons, Joshua Lindsley (Sabrina) of Sturgis, Erik Neiser of East Lansing and Matthew Pierce of Sturgis; and her siblings, Anna Holtz of Burr Oak and Grover Young (Camilla) of Sarasota. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests those wishing to make a memorial donation in Mrs. Pierce's memory consider the First Presbyterian Church, 1320 S. Lakeview Ave., Sturgis, MI 49091 or the Animal Rescue Fund P.O. Box 593, Centreville, MI 49032.
