She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Carpenter and Laura Carpenter (Transou); her spouse Lee H. Weed, Jr.; and her granddaughter Mary Weed. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Weed (Tina) of Sturgis, Michigan, Jonathan Weed (Hiroko) of Pueblo, Colorado, Adam Weed of Columbia, Missouri and David Weed of Huntsville, Alabama; her granddaughters, Laura, Sarah, Catharine, Makayla and Amy; and her great grandchildren, Skai, Antonio, Elle and Conner. She is also survived by mother, and grandmother who took great pride in her family.
