We announce the death of Charles V. Wooten of Sturgis, Michigan, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Wooten and Georgia Wooten (Garvin); and his sons, Charles Allen Wooten and Timothy Charles Wooten. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Stahl; his sons, Michael Wooten of Sturgis and Andrew Wooten (Chastity) of Sturgis; his grandchildren, Chance Ethan Wooten, Gabriel Michael Wooten, Wyatt Wooten, Gabe Wooten, Aubrey Bucher and Kaylee Wooten; and his siblings, Mary Lou Wooten (Thomas) of Grove City, Ohio and Marion Wooten (Darlene) of Sturgis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wooten Home (22655 Williams Landing Rd, Sturgis, MI 49091).
