We are sad to announce that, on May 19, 2022, at the age of 73, David Elliottt Gearring of Sturgis, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Denver Gearring and Sallie Gearring (Elliott); his aunt Henrene Averitt; and his brother Paul Gearring. He is survived by: his wife Doris Adams; his son David (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Nadia and Jabari; his siblings, Katie Pearson, Dr. Caroline Majak (Jonathan) of Alpena, Denver Gearring, Jr. (Patricia) of Gary, Morris Gearring of Chicago and Gloria Middlebrooks (Sandy) of Boston, Massachusetts; and his siblings-in-law, Dr. Michael Adams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Dr. Sondra Bragg of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
