We are sad to announce that, on January 27, 2026, at the age of 67, Dennis Joe Barnett of Sturgis, Michigan passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dennis Joe Barnett to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Goble "Joe" Barnett and Willa Barnett (Lytle); and his brother Doug Barnett. He is survived by: his children, Christy Krull (Eric) of Marcellus, Brandy Rood (Dirk) of Alaska and Brandon Barnett of White Pigeon; his grandchildren, Abby and Brayden; his sisters, Vicky Hart and Ruby Abbs (Ron); and his friend Barb Barnett. He is also survived by one sister-in-law; six nieces and one nephew.
It is suggested that donations be directed to Mendon Community Schools, to benefit the ballfields, gyms, and athletes of the school.
