He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Gill and Henrietta Gill (Swartz); and his siblings, Dorothy Duff, Joann Snyder, Grace Gill, Alfred, Glenn, Ben, Albert and Robert Gill.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lorraine Perrin; and his children, Cindy Lang of Ludington, Joan Franks of Sturgis, Jerry Gill (Rocky) of Indian River, Christopher Perrin of Sturgis, Patrick Gill of Schererville and Matthew Gill of Ludington. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
