She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel Bontrager and Fannie Bontrager (Kauffman); and her siblings, LeRoy, Erie, Willis, Ora, Omer, Theodore Bontrager, Katie Albrecht and Velma Mast.

She is survived by : her spouse Chris Schwartz; her children, Janice Polo (Martin) of Tampa, FL, Bruce Schwartz of Bristol, Wayne Schwartz (Michelle) of Cape Coral, FL and Rick Schwartz (Jennifer) of Nappanee; her brother Dan Bontrager (Brenda) of Middlebury; and her siblings-in-law, Sue Bontrager of White Pigeon, MI and Dale Mast of Batesville, AR.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
