She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Reed and Hilda Reed (Lublow); her husband James Hollie Lawrence, Jr.; her stepfather Clifford C. Shira; her brother James W. Reed; her son-in-law Quang Le; and her great grandchildren, Mina Katherine Griffith and Bei Bloore.

She is survived by : her children, Cynthia Heine (Richard) of Lexington, Claudia Lawrence-Le of Portage, LeAnn Lampen (Michael) of Kalamazoo, Mary Stephan (Greg) of Mansfield, Ohio and James Hollie "Luckie" Lawrence, III (Gloria) of Omaha, Nebraska; and her cousin Linda Gunn (Reed) of Hopewell. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (406 S Lakeview St, Sturgis, MI 49091).
