It is with sadness that the passing of Gary Curtis of Sturgis, Michigan is shared. Gary, born on July 28, 1948, passed away on September 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sturgis and Donna Sturgis (Curtis). He is survived by: his wife Carol Grabe; his sons, Brandon Sturgis (Jessica) of LaGrange, Bryan Sturgis of Klinger Lake and Chad Sturgis of LaGrange, Indiana; his grandchildren, Kai Sturgis and Alixandrea Sams (Hunter); his great grandchild Layton; and his siblings, Janell Baldwin (Mike) of Owensboro, Jolayne Haller (Charlie) of Evansville, Jeryl Wallace (Jimmy) of Howe, Indiana, Barry Sturgis (Sherrill) of LaGrange and Kevin Sturgis of LaGrange, Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rosenberg Chapel (807 E Chicago Rd, Sturgis, MI 49091). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
