He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar H. Mills and Jean E. Mills (Shantz); his daughter Sherry Lego; his uncle Roy Mills; and his brother-in-law Richard Furguson.
He is survived by: his wife Nila Jean Parker; his children, Cynthia Milligan (Don) of Delton, Laura (Bob) and Michael Mills of Mattawan; and his sisters, Lana Studebaker (Jim) of Union and Judy Ferguson of Lansing. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren 23 great grandchildren.
