He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis DeWitt and Helen DeWitt (Shanahan); and his sister Cheryl Wolf. He is survived by: his wife Julia Sweat; his children, Konni DeWitt of Florida, Richard DeWitt of Sturgis, Doug Fireline of Howe, Indiana and Gage Landrum of Sturgis; and his siblings, Bonnie Bedwell of Lake Odessa, Billy DeWitt of Belding and Donny DeWitt of White Cloud. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
