She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Caywood and Pearl Caywood (States); her spouse Martyn H. "Bear" Smith; her son Daniel Lindsay; her daughter-in-law Karen Lindsay; her grandsons, Justin Bowen, Casey Bowen and Joseph Lindsay; her great grandchild Madelyn Bowen; and her siblings, Ned Caywood, Jack Caywood, Margo Wygant and Virginia Gray.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Bowen of Sturgis, Dawn Watson (John) of Sturgis and David Lindsay of Sturgis; and her daughter-in-law Wendy Lindsay of Bronson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
