He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Boughton and Violet A. Boughton (Robbins); his wife Mary Ruth; and his siblings, Judy Colleen Gianino and John Boughton.

He is survived by: his children, Amy Allan (Steve) of Three Rivers and Bryan Boughton (Candy) of Augusta; his grandchildren, Paige Worth (Ryan), Dean Boughton, Max Boughton, Jacquelyn Detmar (Charles) and Maddison Allan; his great grandchildren, Charles, Theodore, Corbin, Tilly and Magnus; his niece Wendy Gianino of Montana; and his nephew Johnny Boughton.
