She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Leech and Catherine Leech (Arnold); and her siblings, Phyllis Clark (Leech), Virginia Kelham (Leech) and Bill Lesch.

She is survived by: her children, Sherry Severson of Wolcottville and Brian Severson (Jane) of Statesville; her granddaughter Catherine Severson; her brother Thomas Leech of San Diego, California; and her siblings-in-law, Leslie Leech of San Diego, California, Daryl Severson of LaOtto and Jim Kelham of Garrett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
