He is survived by: his wife Kay; his daughter Kathy Smith (Edward) of Caledonia; his grandchildren, Joseph and Bridgette; his children, Keri Shane of Evanston, Illinois and Kirby Shane of Dewitt; his grandchildren, Taylor and Payton; and his siblings, Richard Shane and Irene Klotz of Riverdale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
