She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy Russell Nicholas and Clara E. Nicholas (Gerdes); her brother Edward Nicholas; and her granddaughter Susan Bradley. She is survived by : her former life partners, Leon Probst and Albert Smoker; her daughters, Linda Mackinder (Warren VanNortwick) of Battle Creek and Brenda Ann Probst (Jon Lego) of Sturgis; her grandchildren, Michele Jamison and Ryan Bradley; her great grandchildren, Megan Bradley, Zachery Lewis, Taylor Lewis and Keelan Jamison; and her brother David Nicholas (Beverly).
