He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Joseph and Jeanine E. LaFontaine (Lefevre). He is survived by: his wife Annette M. Hoyt; his children, Amanda LaFontaine (Dalton Schwemer) of Colon and Justin LaFontaine of Sturgis; his grandchildren, Hope LaFontaine, Benjamin Schwemer and Kira Schwemer; and his siblings, Amy Sybesma (Ryan) of California and David LaFontaine (Judy Baker) of Colon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
