She was predeceased by: her parents, William Heurich and Minna Heurich (Sengabush); her husband Richard F. Eckhardt; her siblings, Erich Heurich and Edna Scott; her nephew Conrad Scott; and her niece Gretchen Kuhlman.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Peugoet (Darrel) of Sturgis, William Eckhardt (Bambi Herman) of Sturgis and Stephen Eckhardt (Heather) of Sturgis; her grandchildren, Skip Brenneman (Stacey) of Sturgis, Kerri Bradley (Bryan) of Naperville, Rudy Eckhardt (Therese) of Mission Viejo and Tamara Restivo (Doug) of Hamilton; her great grandchildren, Morgen Brenneman of Portland, Ryan Brenneman of Kalamazoo, Matthew, Michael Bradley of Naperville and Degen Eckhardt of Mission Viejo, California; her nephew Rudy Heurich of Sturgis; and her niece Sandra Birdwell of Searcy.
