Lewton; her children, Austin Lewton (Jeslyn) of Shipshewana, IN, Jaron Lewton (Caitlin) of LaGrange, IN, Logan Lewton (Katie) of Shipshewana, IN, Kolten Lewton (Amy) of LaGrange, IN and Gretchen Lewton (Owen Bowersox) of Sturgis, MI.; her brothers, Mike Gerber (Charlene) of Auburn, IN and Nick Gerber of Auburn, IN; and her grandchildren, Everett, Emerson, Elliana, Smith, Emma, Ila and Josie.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Melisa's memory to the Compassion Pregnancy Center of LaGrange & Steuben Counties, a ministry close to her heart.
