She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hicks and Hazel Hicks (Burch); her in-laws, Leason and Joanie Modert; her brothers, Terry (Roxanne) and Bruce Hicks (Dawn); and her brother-in-law Paul Woods.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Aaron Modert (Tawny) of Highlands Ranch, CO, Abby Lahnum (Donald) of Baltimore, OH and Adam Modert (Kelly) of Highlands Ranch, CO; her grandchildren, Haillie, Austyn, McKenzy Lahnum, Logan and Addison Modert; her sister Patricia Woods of Sturgis, MI; and her siblings-in-law, Ted Modert of Sturgis, MI and Leasa Ball (Larry) of Crossville, TN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
