She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Parrish (Herrin) and Mary Burmeister; her stepfather Alfred Burmeister; and her brothers, Dennis Parrish, Donnie Parrish and Danny Parrish.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Shimp; her children, Kathleen Boothe (Miles Davis) of Sturgis, Lacey Terwedo of Tennessee and Lucas Terwedo (Ashley Adams) of Sturgis; her stepson Nicholas Shimp (Cassie) of Flowerfield Township; her grandchildren, Mason, Ava, Eleanor, Aiden, Arianna, Juniper, George and Delilah; and her siblings, Debra Carleton (Tim) of Franklin and Barry Parrish (Mialynn) of Sturgis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
