She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar E. Reifinger and Elizabeth Reifinger (Moll); and her husband Dr. Joseph R. Merkel of Huff's Union Church. She is survived by: her son Glenn J. Merkel (Eva) of Key Largo, Florida. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
