It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rebecca Pueschel of Sturgis, Michigan, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry L. Sherman and Ruth May Sherman (Mireley); her husband John Martin Pueschel of John's Lutheran Church; her son-in-law Marcus Mead; and her brothers, Frank Sherman and H. Delevan Sherman.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Mead-Bennett (Richard) of Sturgis, William Pueschel (Penny) of Sturgis and Christopher Pueschel (Terra) of Sturgis; her grandchildren, Austin Pueschel, Morgan Lovelace (Trey), Madison Pueschel, Megan Mead, Emily Mead, Drew Pueschel, Alexis Pueschel and Zachary Pueschel; her great grandchildren, Marlow Lovelace, Charliey Lovelace and Beau Sanford; her stepgrandchildren, Tyler, Madison Alter, Marie and James Bennett; and her brother Richard Sherman (Beth) of Howe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rosenberg Chapel (807 E Chicago Rd, Sturgis, MI 49091). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (1108 E Lafayette St, Sturgis, MI 49091).
