He is survived by: his wife Mary Carpenter; his children, Amy Goff (David) of Augusta and Richard Scott, III (Sarah) of Sturgis; his grandchildren, Dilan Goff, Jacob Goff Richard Scott, IV and Kenli Scott; and his brothers, Chester Scott (Ruth), Bradford Scott (Martha) and Jeffrey Scott (Rebecca). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
