He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diane Wendt; his children, Lisa Wendt (Arben Mamaj), David Wendt, Daniel Wendt (Nora) and Karl Wendt; his grandchildren, Connor, Bryce and Easton; his brothers, Ronald Wendt (Jeanene) and Dennis Wendt (Elinor); and his siblings-in-law, Tess Beukema (late Bill), Pearl Decker (David), Rich Dykstra (Cheryl) and David Dykstra (Tricia).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel (15525 73rd Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Mount Vernon Memorial (11875 Archer Ave, Lemont, IL 60439).
