He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Teadt and Ruth Teadt (Walters); his sons, Douglas, Richard and Jerry Teadt; his sister Mary Kirby; his siblings-in-law, Naomi Teadt, Shirley Teadt, Bill, Drake, Richard, Harry Ward and Leon Cullimore; his stepgrandson Kyle Grinage; his niece Donna Kirby; and his great-nephew Josh Batten.
He is survived by: his former wife Amanda Kroll; his wife Kay Yeaman (Ward); his children, Robert Teadt, Jr. (Dee) of Sturgis, Sandy Baker (Ray) of Howe and Debbie Brinklow (Dave) of Grand Haven; his stepchildren, Hope Grubka (Jon) of Mendon, Beth Ruckert (Jason) of Thousand Oaks and Neill Yeaman (Cindy) of Plainwell; and his siblings, Don Teadt of Three Rivers and LaDonna Sand of Centreville. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and their spouses; 13 great-grandchildren and their spouses.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rosenberg Chapel (807 E Chicago Rd, Sturgis, MI 49091). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (406 S Lakeview St, Sturgis, MI 49091).
